“He said to them, ‘It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by his own authority. But you will receive power when the Spirit of Truth has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”- Acts 1:7-8
In the Scriptures, we learn about the promises of GOD Almighty for the nation of Israel and also about how King Jesus Christ was going to allow all of humanity to obtain eternal salvation through the crucifixion and resurrection. We learn that the disciples and apostles were called to preach the word of GOD Almighty after the Resurrection of King Jesus Christ.
King Jesus Christ tells us that the Resurrection needed to be preached in order to teach individuals that GOD Almighty wants individuals to be saved through their repentance of sin and their belief in GOD Almighty. We are given confidence in the word of GOD Almighty and meaning in knowing that GOD Almighty decides to give us eternal life through King Jesus Christ.
We are provided with this understanding through the writings of the disciples and apostles that tell us of how King Jesus Christ was able to obtain eternal life through the obedience to the word of GOD Almighty. This allows us to know that Christian believers can continue in the faith to experience the renovation, restoration, and renewal that happens through the faith in King Jesus Christ.
We read in the writings of Peter how disciples and apostles are able to preach the truth and the faith so that individuals can have eternal life. We read of the need for the Spirit of Truth to allow us to know the word of GOD Almighty and to preach the truth. We are reminded of the importance of prayer in understanding the word of GOD Almighty and to pray for Christians that are preaching the word of GOD Almighty. We are reminded to glorify GOD Almighty above everything.
We read that this has happened in the history of the world. We learn that Christianity was able to advance and allow for the manner that individuals in Israel and around the world could know about the steadfast love, faithfulness, and truth that GOD Almighty can provide for righteous individuals who choose to believe the word of GOD Almighty.
